looking for a decent choli pattern.... not the streatchy-bouncy-must-have-perfect-perky-boobs-to-wear-ones... One that would actually offer support and not need a bra under it. and no- braless without support is not an option.

I have limited internet access- so an emailed/posted image is best.

Thoughts?

Where are you camping and where else will you be findable?
Barony of Stonemarche (N33), EK Royal, trailing behind TRM East.

When are you arriving?

First Sat early afternoon

What fun things are you planning to do?

Retaining for TRM East, a few classes, and catch up with the husband who will join me for war week.

And, if there's any chance I haven't connected LJ names and SCA names, what's your SCA name?

Lady Tat'iana Negoshka Danilova (yes it's offical.. It passed!)

so this weekend past at SRWC there were these chairs that i absolutly love. I have no idea where they came from or where they went and I wish i had a picture of them. They were up on the stage during court but in the back. I was told they were supposed to be for TRH but they brought their own chairs and they were not needed. They were kind of like x-chairs but had black leather seat and back. very sturdy and extreamly comfortable. I think i hear a rumor that the same guy who had the 'boat' had made them...

Anyone know what I'm talking about? and anyone know where i can get a picture and/or if he sells them?

Hoping for more feed back...

keeping in mind:
**I'm retaining for TRM, which means running my butt off but trying to look repectable...
**my husband is also coming for war week and i haven't seen him since May and He's been in FL since Thanksgiving- so i want to look nice (read desparetly want to be attractive) (and yes, he'll be home for good after that)
**which do you think would flatter my rather large figure more?

so I'm debating....

roman-ish vs indian-ish for pennsic?

roman-ish- early russ did have garment similar to roman...
indian-ish- always wanted to wear a sari... though better believe i'll have on a top that covers the belly and back!

I've got 20 yards of cotton gauze- no not the bubble stuff, the heavy weight that dharma sells, and by heavy, i mean not the super light but definatly still gauze stuff.

And 10 yards of stonewashed cotton broadcloth that is so soft (which i'm thinking of making an uber full skirted dress sorta like the underdress for my heraldic gown).

plus a little money that i could pick up a few inexpensive cotton sarees with....

thoughts???

so- amusing moment here right befor lunch
i'm working on a natural gas fuel line for a water treatment station
and the guy here who is our gas piping expert was showing me a few things
we were looking up valves
he kept calling them 'Gas Caulk' valves
or at least that was what i was hearing
so i typed in CAULK in the search parameter of the database
and he says- no 'not caulk... c, o, c, k'
then turned all shaded of red and took off like he was on fire
i just sat there and giggled quietly to myself
i think it was me saying, 'OOOOH.. Cock not Caulk!' that was a bit much for him to handle

The first player of this game starts with the '6 weird things/habits about yourself' and people who get tagged need to write a blog of their 6 weird habits/things as well and state this rule clearly. In the end you need to choose the 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says 'you are tagged' in their comments and tell them to read yours.

1. At the time i go to bed- i have to know where the cats are- and prefer them in sight.

2. I love to play in water. i can't walk by a puddle and not long to splash in it. anything bigger and i want to swim in it.

3. i hate the phone. any kind of phone- i hate them.

4. control. i need to be in control of myself at the very least. my environment next and it spreads out in lesser degrees from there.

5. cooking- i hate doing it. esp when it's only me or not appriciated.

6. meat- i am so picky about my meat. chicken is white and has no bones in it. beef is pale pink with no fatty things or chewy bits in it or bones. pork is tan and has no bones or fat in it. lobster os heaven and comes whole with distructive impliments to get at the meat.

who to tag... no clue... if you wanna play- go for it
